I woke her up at 7am and we walked to the sun deck.
We began to watch the sunrise together and I told her I forgot something downstairs.
I returned with a (vegan) chai latte cupcake with chocolate chips and vanilla frosting
on top of which sat a ring made by the talented Greg Cullum (InfiniteBody.ca)
I told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her, got down on one knee and
asked if she would marry me.

She said yes.

I'm eating dark chocolate mint UFO's from Trader Joe's and they're making me sneeze like crazy. My grandma has the
same problem. I remember being a kid and watching her sneeze as she ate peppermint patties. Sneezing or not, these
things are tasty.

It's been a struggle to find something to drink in the mornings to wake me up without making me feel horrible but so far green tea seems to be doing the trick. I gave black tea a shot the other day but it was way too much. Maybe I made it wrong. I don't know. Either way, it made me super shaky.

Yesterday I trained some new shop help for several hours and today I'm doing the same.

A review and my thoughts on an article posted earlier this week in the Los Angeles Times

It was 4:55pm and I was five minutes early to work. I had just ridden my bike from Seal Beach. My hair was messed up, my "VEGAN POWER" shirt was soaked in sweat and I had forgotten to bring John the stamp I had promised.

He hands me a folded page torn out of the LA Times. "This is for you."

paper in my lap.

It's a full page memo detailing how to identify potential terrorists
and when it's appropriate to report suspects to the authorities.
